Regenerative Intelligence

On April 20th, 2022, the team that created the Drawdown Solutions Framwork, one of the world’s leading resources for climate solutions, came together again to create a new vision for the Regenerative Future. They had done the research on the solutions to solve the climate crisis, now they want to enable implementers to actually do it.

One year later, on April 20th, 2023, Regenerative Intelligence announced our vision to superpower and embolden 100,000 regenerative leaders and practioners to create the next solutions-based economy.

RegenIntel Founding Declaration

Today, on Earth Day 2022, we have come together with joy, excitement, and hope - to create Regenerative Intelligence (RegenIntel).

RegenIntel is a mission-derived public benefit company harnessing humanity’s collective wisdom aligned with nature and community. Our mission is to activate humanity to become a planet-positive species. We will do this by guiding and stewarding decision-makers to effectively implement regenerative and climate solutions that benefit people and the planet.

We are composed of thinkers and doers dedicated to creating a regenerative economy and society that places human and planetary well-being at the heart of our collective future. And we are joining a host of people and organizations around the world in the work of stewarding this regenerative future that benefits all life.

We will leverage our unique skills and expertise to support a holistic, systems-based approach to regenerative and climate solutions at-scale. Solutions that help society address climate change and its harmful impacts, renew our relationship with life, advance equity and justice, and establish positive cycles of change. We recognize there are no silver bullets to the planet’s problems. Technologies do not work in isolation. Pulling one lever will have ripple effects across time and place because we live in a context of interconnected systems that touch every facet of life on the planet. Actions we all take can positively transform social and ecological contexts. It is time to take the necessary steps to achieve the future we choose together.

We will work with a diversity of people globally to understand the challenges we all face, cultivate a forward-thinking mindset for change, and take real action on the most impactful solutions they can adopt. Inclusion, justice, and equity will be at the center of our work. We are led by women, intergenerational, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC perspectives and voices that have been missing for too long in these frameworks and narratives. Our model will be based on a virtuous cycle of collaborative research, communication, action, and learning built on the principles of effective collective impact that make humans a planet-positive species.

The Regeneration is here.
